How to navigate Alta's parking reservations system for the 2024-25 winter.

Reservations are required Friday–Sunday & holiday periods.

Early morning reservations are available for backcountry skiers who would like to park before 8am.

Parking reservations will open in late October.

There are multiple options for parking throughout Alta. Familiarize yourself with the parking lots that offer valid reserved parking.

Have a rental car aND don't know your License plate yet? 

When you make your parking reservation, use "RENTAL" as your license plate number. When you pick up your rental car, log into your account and update your license plate to match your rental car's plate. You may also print and display your reservation on your dashboard to avoid a violation.
